When Anglo Gold Ashanti moved their head office to Rosebank, they upgraded the finishes on the interior and refurbished some of the exterior floor finishes as well.
We were contracted to apply a high traffic function, hand troweled epoxy screed to the carpark public access areas around the buildings lift structures.
The finish had to be both hard wearing and attractive. Anglo chose a black and white pebble texture in a clear base. Because the mix application is thick, it needs to be troweled and hand levelled. It was applied to a 5mm thickness. It’s extremely strong and durable. The finish has a sheen that mattes down over time.
